The official White House X and Instagram accounts on Sunday posted an AI-generated image of Donald Trump as a beefed-up Jedi in celebration of “Star Wars” day. The post read, “Happy May the 4th to all, including the Radical Left Lunatics who are fighting so hard to bring Sith Lords, Murderers, Drug Lords, Dangerous Prisoners, & well known MS-13 Gang Members, back into our Galaxy. You’re not the Rebellion—you’re the Empire. May the 4th be with you.”

The light side of the force is almost always seen using blue or green sabers, outside of a few exceptions.
This isn’t the first time the White House socials have shared AI-generated renderings of Trump. On Saturday, the White House posted an AI image of Trump as the Pope to its X and Instagram accounts. The post came just weeks after the passing of Pope Francis on April 21. The fourth of May is colloquially known as “Star Wars” day among fans of the franchise. In celebration of the day, it is common practice to say “May the 4th be with you,” which is a play on words of the iconic “Star Wars” line, “may the force be with you.” The day was adopted by fans in the years after the release of “A New Hope” in 1977. One of the first instances of it referenced in the media was in a British political advertisement. After Margaret Thatcher’s election, the U.K. Conservative Party used the phrase “May the Fourth be With You” in an ad to honor the day of her victory.
