Green Apple Entertainment Signs Four-Film Deal with AllBlk; Danielle Nicolet’s Directorial Debut to Lead Lineup (EXCLUSIVE)
Producer and distributor GreenApple Entertainment has signed a four-film deal with AllBlk, the popular streaming service for Black television and film from AMC Networks.Thriller film “Long Time Listener” will kick off the line-up, premiering on April 2. The film marks the directorial debut of Danielle Nicolet (“The Flash,” “Central Intelligence”), who also stars alongside Meagan Holder (“Monarch,” “Pitch”) and Lyriq Bent (“She’s Gotta Have it,” “Acrimony”). The plot follows a true crime podcaster who becomes the target of a dangerous “long-time listener.”In addition to “Long Time Listener,” the collaboration will feature the romantic comedy “Wingman,” to be released in October; the crime thriller “Night Sweats” and the romantic drama “A High Value Man.”GreenApple’s newly signed deal with AllBlk aims to further the streamer’s focus on “female-led, culturally resonant storytelling.”“We are excited to bring quality films to the AllBlk audience,” said Tim Warren, founder and CEO of GreenApple Entertainment. “GreenApple specializes in audience-driven originals, with production, post, music and distribution all under one umbrella, allowing for a seamless creative process.
