How to Watch Bryan Kohberger Doc ‘One Night in Idaho’ Online
Last week, serial killer Bryan Kohberger pled guilty for the murder of four women at the University of Idaho in 2022.
While the trial itself received real-time coverage through weekly video podcasts on CBS’s true crime program “48 Hours,” those looking for even more details about the case can stream a new documentary on Peacock titled “The Idaho Student Murders.” The new doc, which trails the pre-trial case of Kohberger through interviews with the victims’ friends and family, follows HBO’s 2023 show about the case, which featured experts exploring theories about the case. Amazon has also ordered a docuseries as well as a scripted series about the case via a deal with Skydance.

All four murders took place on the night of Nov. 13, 2022 in Moscow, Idaho. The case immediately created a media frenzy, as several weeks passed before investigators could identify a primary suspect. It was then not until Dec. 30 that they arrested Kohberger in Monroe County, Pa., over two thousand miles from the scene of the crime.

Kohberger was first brought before a judge in Moscow, where he was charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary. He was denied bond and initially pled not guilty. The trail was later moved to Boise to ensure an impartial jury.
Since the stabbings were first reported, the case has garnered significant media attention, with other projects in the works to tell the story of the murders. Paramount+ released its own docuseries and James Patterson and Vicky Ward announced they would be writing a nonfiction book about the murders, with Amazon Prime Video ordering a docuseries based on that book.
