‘Man on the Inside’ Renewed for Season 3 at Netflix
“A Man on the Inside” has been renewed for Season 3, Variety has confirmed.
The news comes around two months after the second season of the Netflix comedy debuted. Ted Danson stars in the series as Charles Nieuwendyk. The Season 2 also consisted of: Mary Steenburgen, Max Greenfield, Gary Cole, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Lilah Richcreek EstradaStephanie Beatriz, Michaela Conlin, Lisa Gilroy, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Madison Hu, Sam Huntington, Jason Mantzoukas, Constance Marie, Linda Park, David Strathairn, and Jill Talley.
“A Man on the Inside” Season 1 debuted in November 2024 to a glowing reception from both audiences and critics. The single-cam comedy remained in the Netflix Top 10 English TV chart for five weeks, while Danson received both Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations for his work in the series. Netflix announced the Season 2 renewal less than a month after it premiered. Per Netflix, the two seasons have a combined 45 million views on the platform.
The series is based on the documentary “The Mole Agent.” Mike Schur created the series and serves as an executive producer via Fremulon. Morgan Sackett is also an executive producer along with David Miner of 3 Arts Entertainment, Maite Alberdi and Marcela Santibañez of Micromundo Producciones, and Julie Goldman and Christopher Clements of Motto Pictures. Universal Television is the studio.
