Venezuelan comedian Nacho Redondo has signed with Gersh for representation. The Mexico City-based comic, who performs exclusively in Spanish, is currently on a 29-date tour of the United States. His approach to touring differs from most international acts. Whereas many comics from outside the United States adapt their sets for English-speaking audiences (or adopt a bilingual model), Redondo is betting big on the growing appetite for Spanish-language comedy in North America and is sticking to his usual act (despite speaking fluent English).
Redondo is known for his podcast “Escuela de Nada,” which covers politics, culture and personal identity. With nearly 700 episodes, the show helped launch him to global recognition. He continued building momentum with his 2023 special “Macadamia” and his 2024 show “Huevo de Dragón.”
The comedian launched his “Traumas” tour across Mexico, Europe and Latin America in April 2025 and will stay on the road in the U.S. until February 2026. In his shows, he interacts with audience members who share their deepest traumas for him to playfully poke fun at and explore in a dialogue about empathy and suffering. Redondo’s own career was heavily informed by a traumatic moment in 2017, when a joke he made at a comedy festival led to his political censorship and exile from his home country of Venezuela. Redondo’s career milestones include headlining the first all-Spanish show at the Miami Improv in 2019 and performing at the Netflix Is a Joke festival in 2024. He joins a comedy roster at Gersh that includes John Oliver, Kevin Nealon, Jamie Foxx, Kathy Griffin, Maria Bamford, Sasheer Zamata and more. Redondo is also represented by manager David Serna and Agency Margot.
