The Paley Center for Media will take its annual International Council Summit to the heart of Silicon Valley this fall. Apple content chief Eddy Cue, YouTube CEO Neal Mohan and Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer are among the tech leaders recruited to help drive the event, set for Oct. 22-24 at Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, Calif. The International Council Summit, chaired by Paley chairman Frank Bennack, Jr., brings business, political and civic leaders with athletes, creatives and other influential figures to “explore the issues shaping the rapidly evolving media business,” per the Paley Center. This year’s gathering is dubbed “Global Media Unbound: The Future of Innovation.” The International Council Summit has been held since 1995.
“As we look ahead to the 2025 Paley International Council Summit, we are excited to bring together the brightest minds from across the globe to discuss the future of media in an increasingly interconnected world,” said Bennack, who is also executive vice chairman and former CEO of Hearst.
“The Summit has long been a forum for innovative thinking and critical conversations, and I look forward to returning to Silicon Valley for the thought-provoking discussions that will help shape the direction of the industry in the years to come,” he said. Among other tech industry notables signed on to the International Council’s organizing committee are Roblox CEO David Baszucki, Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson, Linkedin CEO Ryan Roslansky and Meta chief strategy officer Dave Wehner. “Innovation is the bridge between imagination and reality — where bold ideas meet the courage to transform them into something that changes the world, and what better place to explore this topic than in Silicon Valley,” said Maureen Reidy, president and CEO of Paley Center for Media.
