‘Reacher’ Star Alan Ritchson Seals Three-Year, First-Look TV Deal With Amazon MGM Studios
Amazon MGM Studios is reaching out to “Reacher” to for a new deal. The studio has sealed a three-year, first-look TV pact with “Reacher” star Alan Ritchson to develop and produce new projects for prime video.
Ritchson, who stars in and executive produces “Reacher” for Prime Video, has set up the new first-look TV deal through his Dancing Skeleton production shingle.
“With the success of ‘Reacher’ and our upcoming spinoff ‘Neagley,’ it felt like a natural next step to continue our partnership with Prime Video as we focus on bringing top-tier episodic content to life. Reacher is just the beginning,” Ritchson said in a statement.

Ritchson has starred in and EP’ed the Prime Video actioner “Reacher” since 2022; he’ll return in the show’s upcoming Season 4. Also with Amazon MGM Studios, he will star in and produce “The Man With The Bag” opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger. And he stars and produces Amazon MGM Studios’ untitled Mike Thornton project, which just wrapped production.

Elsewhere, Ritchson recently starred in the Netflix film “War Machine.” Next he stars in the action film “Motor City,” with Shailene Woodley and Ben Foster, which opens July 24 in theaters. He also will be seen in “Runner,” with Owen Wilson, on Sept. 11. The star was first seen in The CW’s “Smallville,” as well as Spike TV’s “Blue Mountain State,” Syfy’s “Blood Drive” and HBO Max’s “Titans.”
Ritchson founded Dancing Skeleton to produce TV and film projects; beyond “Reacher,” its upcoming output includes the untitled Mike Thornton project, “Runner” and “The Man With the Bag.”
