The second season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” has dropped a trailer and will hit Hulu May 15 with 10 episodes that all drop at the same time. One of the most popular of Hulu’s unscripted programs, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” follows the Utah-based, Mormon influencers of #MomTok who once went viral for a sex scandal that revealed them to be swingers. The Season 2 trailer teases the unexpected appearance of one of the original swingers, Miranda McWhorter. Per the official synopsis, “friendships threaten to unravel as secrets, lies, and allegations explode. In a battle for the soul of #MomTok, will betrayal shatter the sisterhood, or will the truth set them free?”
The cast includes Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mayci Neeley, Layla Taylor, Whitney Leavitt and Mikayla Matthews.
“There’s drama, there’s inspiration, there’s entertainment,” Neeley previously said to Variety, describing the show at the time of the first season’s release. “It has, like, religion.” Jeff Jenkins Productions, known for “Bling Empire,” produces the show, alongside 3BMG and Walt Disney Television Alternative. Jeff Jenkins serves as executive producer with Eric Monsky, Russell Jay-Staglik, Andrea Metz, Brandon Beck via Jeff Jenkins Productions, Ross Weintraub and Reinout Oerlemans via 3BMG and Lisa Filipelli, Danielle Pistotnik and Georgia Berger via Select Entertainment. When “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” first debuted in September 2024, it passed “The Bachelor” and “The Kardashians” in viewership numbers. Hulu announced the show’s renewal that following October. In an announcement for the season 2 renewal, Rob Mills, the executive vice president of unscripted and alternative entertainment at Walt Disney Television, stated, “There was a philosophical question raised in Season 1 which was ‘Can #MomTok survive this?’ The answer unequivocally is yes! Spring 2025 get your dirty sodas ready!” Watch the teaser below.
