Laura Karpman and Leigh Roberts were among the top honorees at SESAC‘s Film and Television Awards in Santa Monica, Calif., on Wednesday, for their work on “The Marvels” and “Mafia Spies,” respectively. Those recognized across mediums included Karpman for streaming performance; Jon Ehrlich for streaming and network television; Danny Lux for streaming, network and cable TV; and Michael Egizi for cable and network television.
Television composers honored during the event included David Dachinger for “NFL on CBS,” Gabriel Mann for “Modern Family” and Jason Halbert for his work on The Kelly Clarkson Show, along with several others.
Recognition in streaming media went to Randy Newman, John Swihart and Jon Ehrlich, among others. The awards recognize composers affiliated with SESAC for their work in film, television and streaming media.
